This time I came to the Pearl River New Town to connect with the brand cooperation project, and specifically set accommodation at Yi Zhi Hotel, Taikoo Li, Zhujiang New Town, Guangzhou. It was originally intended to be close to the office cluster and save time for commuting. After I stayed there, I found that this hotel hidden in the CBD core area incorporated the efficiency, convenience and appropriateness most needed for business travel into daily details.
I took the subway line 3 from Baiyun Airport to Shipaiqiao Station, and walked out of Exit B for 3 minutes to the hotel downstairs, without detour in the viaducts and high-rise buildings of the Pearl River New City. When checking in, the front desk acted quickly and handed over the room card within two minutes. They also reminded me that the 24-hour business center on the second floor can print contracts and project PPTs for free, and can arrange small negotiation rooms directly without having to rush out to find third-party venues. In the executive city view room I booked, the large desk by the window is equipped with ample Ethernet ports and fast charging sockets. Facing the CBD skyline outside the window, the plan is modified, and the gigabit Wi Fi is fully charged throughout the entire process. Even transferring several gigabytes of project materials has not been blocked. The sound insulation of the room is particularly solid, even if the main road of the commercial district is downstairs, there is no sound of traffic at all after closing the windows, and you can still concentrate quietly until late at night when rushing to plan.
What surprised me the most was the location advantage. It takes only 5 minutes to walk to the Taikoo Hui office complex and connect with nearby brand companies for business. You don't have to rush to the morning rush hour ride hailing service, and you can walk slowly without being late. You can take a taxi to Pazhou Convention and Exhibition Center in 10 minutes, so you don't have to leave an hour early and get stuck on the road to catch the exhibition in the morning. Within a 10 minute walk from the surrounding area, there are everything from high-end Cantonese restaurants to down-to-earth Cantonese style morning tea shops. When arranging business meals with clients, there is no need to travel across districts. Just a few steps downstairs can find a restaurant with a decent environment, saving a lot of commuting trouble.
The hotel's facilities have completely hit the pain point of business travel. The 24-hour self-service laundry room with drying and ironing functions has been open for a week. I have been on a business trip continuously, and if my formal clothes get dirty, I can wash them at any time. The next day, I can dress neatly to meet customers. The free resident parking lot is too friendly for self driving visitors, as they don't have to spend a high price to find a parking space in the CBD. It is also very convenient to move samples in and out. One day, I needed to modify the project quotation at the last minute. The staff at the business center not only helped me quickly print and bind it, but also took the initiative to seal the documents in a file bag, giving extra attention to details.
During these few days of living, the thoughtful little details have constantly touched people's hearts. One day, I went back to the hotel after one o'clock at night, and casually told the front desk that my stomach was a little uncomfortable. Within ten minutes, the staff brought a bowl of hot Cantonese millet porridge and stomach medicine to the room. Breakfast is served until 11:00 a.m., even if we accompany customers late the previous day, we can eat steamed rice noodles and raw porridge the next day, instead of eating cold takeaway bread.
Previously, I used to prefer chain business hotels located on the edge of the CBD for business trips. However, this time I stayed at Yi Zhi Hotel, Taikoo Li, Zhujiang New Town, Guangzhou and realized that choosing the right place to stay in the core area can save a lot of time wasted on commuting, and even the busy daily business trips can be more relaxed. Next time I come to the the Pearl River New Town docking project, I will definitely take it as the first choice.Show more
